By taking an approach where an understanding of the anatomy of an attack is developed, the CyberSec First Responder® (CFR) cyber security certification validates individuals have the high-stakes skills needed to serve their organizations before, during, and after a breach. A CyberSec First Responder® is the first line of defense against cyber attacks that can cost an organization valuable time and money. The CyberSec First Responder® cyber security training and certification program will prepare security professionals to become the first responders who defend against cyber attacks by teaching students to analyze threats, design secure computing and network environments, proactively defend networks, and respond/investigate cyber security incidents. Exam Prerequisites While there are no formal prerequisites to register for and schedule a CFR-210 exam time, Logical Operations strongly recommends you first possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the following: • Assess information security risk in computing and network environments • Analyze the cybersecurity landscape • Analyze reconnaissance threats to computing and network environments • Analyze attacks on computing and network environments • Analyze post-attack techniques on computing and network environments • Evaluate an organization’s security posture within a risk management framework • Collect cybersecurity intelligence • Analyze data collected from security and event logs • Perform active analysis on assets and networks • Respond to cybersecurity incidents • Investigate cybersecurity incidents Domain % of Examination Threat Landscape 25% Passive Data-Driven Analysis 27% Active Asset and Network Analysis 28% Incident Response Lifecycle 20% Total 100%
